Seatrade Awards Ceremony Dinner
Amid the magnificent setting of London's Guildhall, over 350 of the maritime industry's leading players, royal guests and dignitaries will unite for an evening of celebration and networking at the 27th Seatrade Awards Ceremony Dinner.
Join our esteemed panel of judges, ship owners, ship builders, bankers, insurers, lawyers, brokers, maritime associations and government bodies to recognise those who have made outstanding contributions over the last year for safe, efficient and environmentally friendly shipping.
Tension builds throughout the evening as the Awards Ceremony approaches, the winners are not known to anyone apart from the preeminent judging panel who reach their decision just a few hours earlier. The winners are announced during the prestigious award ceremony and presented with a unique handcrafted trophy by the Guest of Honour and the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
“Over the last 28 years, Seatrade Awards have been supported by successive IMO Secretary General’s - C P Srivastava, William O’Neil, Efthimios Mitropoulos and myself. This is an important mechanism for the shipping industry and also for the International Maritime Organization. The vision is to raise the profile of international shipping and over that time we have seen significant encouragement and as far as the IMO is concerned, while I am Secretary General, we will continue to support this very important activity”
Koji Sekimizu, Secretary-General, International Maritime Organization (IMO)
